CHOICE – Comprehensive structured patient education for people with Type 1 diabetes
  Diabetes newsletter web
CHOICE is now the gold standard structured patient education for Type 1 patients in Berkshire West and replaces DAFNE. The Dietetic and DSN Team are offering an intensive four day (over 4 weeks) carbohydrate counting course to those with Type 1 diabetes across the locality, called CHOICE: CHO and Insulin Calculation Education. This course provides detailed information and gives the tools needed for patients to manage their condition for the rest of their lives. It is not meant to replace the 3-hour CarbAware course and people who have done CarbAware may like to 'graduate' to CHOICE.

Further details are available here, including a leaflet with full details of the course.
